It was the era of Alan Alda, Phil Donahue and sensitive men. I thought they were wimpy. I wanted a tall, dark handsome man with a mustache and a big ole' Harley.
My heart of desire, wishes and wants looked more like Laurence Olivier as Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights, with a touch of Daniel Day Louis from Last of the Mohicans.
Pick me up, carry me away, save me, love me... forever.
Is that too much to ask for?
